BASS

Small Mouth Bass are jumpy. They are fun to catch because of their aggressive and jumping nature when caught on the hook, even when out of the water.  The Bass can swim at a speed of 20 mph and can swim 2.5 times faster per second than its body length. The female Smallmouth Bass are larger than the males.  After the females are done laying eggs, she leaves her nest, but the males stay back to guard them so that predators do not eat them.  Isn't that  sweet! :)
